What you'll do: 

  • Build and maintain full-stack web applications for sports data delivery using Next.js, React, and Node.js.
  • Write clean, maintainable code ensuring cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Integrate external APIs (e.g., sports data feeds) and develop backend services to support key functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with design, product, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features efficiently.
  • Implement performance optimizations and caching strategies for high-traffic environments.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and agile ceremonies to ensure quality and collaboration.
  • Stay current with front-end and full-stack best practices, focusing on the React/Next.js ecosystem.

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Strong knowledge of Next.js (SSR/SSG, routing, data fetching).
  • Experience developing backend services with Node.js and Express, including RESTful API integration.
  • Proficient with version control systems (GitHub or GitLab).
  • Familiar with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
  • Solid understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in agile environments.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with sports data, real-time data feeds, or live content applications.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, OAuth2, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience integrating CMS or content platforms (e.g., Shopify).
  • Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
